Weight of Return

The Weight of Return represents seven backs that go from order to disorder in which simultaneously they reflect the seven days of the week; from Monday to Sunday with ceaseless repetition. This installation is connected to the job I had for seven months in Verona, Italy on a construction site; beginning every day at 6 am only to return 12 hours later. Working from Monday to Saturday without any perception of the resting day that was once meant to be holy. Every day became a rehearsal for the next without any culmination or destination, dissolving into a disorderly rhythm. The backs are represented optimistically - as if in memory - behind me now.
